Meet the NCRD 7.8″ Widescreen DDU: A Dedicated Dashboard for Your Sim Racing Rig

When you’re approaching a braking zone, planning your next pit stop or watching fuel consumption, it helps to have your race information in a familiar place.

The NCRD 7.8″ Widescreen DDU combines a dedicated touchscreen dashboard with 24 customizable RGB rev lights, giving your cockpit a display you can configure around your driving.

A widescreen dashboard with touchscreen control

The 7.8-inch Vocore screen supports basic touch functionality for switching dashboards and navigating pages. Through SimHub, you can build your display around information such as fuel levels, track maps and tyre wear, depending on the dashboard and telemetry available from your simulator.

An NCRD custom SimHub dashboard designed for the screen is included, giving you a starting point for your setup.

Think about what you actually check during a race. A clear layout with a few useful readings can be easier to follow than a screen filled with every available number.

24 customizable RGB rev lights

The DDU includes 24 RGB lights arranged in a 4–16–4 layout. These provide configurable visual feedback alongside the screen.

When setting up your lighting, aim for consistency. Choose a pattern you can recognize quickly and keep your most important signals easy to distinguish.

Position it around your driving view

The mounting system offers height, angle and depth adjustment. Available mounting choices include selected wheelbases, a desk mount and a universal 4040 M8 option.

Before choosing your position, sit in your normal driving posture and check visibility through or above the steering wheel. Leave clearance for your hands and make sure the display doesn’t obscure your view of the circuit.

Plan your connections

The screen and rev lights use separate USB connections, requiring two USB-C-to-USB-A cables. The product offers an optional cable selection, so check your chosen configuration before ordering. Mounting hardware, two L-shaped USB-C adapters and installation instructions are included.

Leave a little slack in both cables so you can adjust the display without putting strain on its connectors.

Whether you’re building a new cockpit or adding a dashboard to an existing rig, the NCRD DDU gives you a dedicated place for the information you choose to follow.
